Future Libraries: Sisters

The Sisters Library is centrally located near the downtown core and City Hall. The library’s renovation creates a bright and open space that welcomes the entire community with amenities including meeting/tutor rooms, an enhanced children’s discovery space, a cozy fireplace and reading area, and a large community gathering space.

What’s happening with the Sisters Library?

The Sisters Library is now in the process of a comprehensive remodel, and is projected to be reopen in Fall 2023. A temporary Sisters Library is now open in a mobile unit on the current library property. Hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Community Gathering Space
A large meeting room, with an operable partition wall, provides versatility throughout the day and for after-hour gatherings.

Tutor/Meeting Rooms
Two additional meeting/tutor rooms address the increased demand for collaborative and creative spaces for the Sisters community.

Children’s Discovery Space
Children of all ages enjoy an enhanced discovery space that includes room for interactive play and learning.

Books and other materials are displayed in the heart of the library for all to browse and enjoy.

Teen Space
Teens meet, study, and create in a space all their own.

Comfortable seating surrounds a new, energy-efficient fireplace.
