Propaganda was needed to convince society that it was acceptable for women to do men's work - and Rosie the Riveter was born! Join us as we delve into "all things Rosie".

Eileen Gose Bio
Presented by Eileen Tannich Gose who has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a Master's degree in Education. She is a member of the Archaeological Society of Central Oregon and the Deschutes County Historical Society. In the past, she was involved in the Colorado Archaeological Society and was selected for several education grants from the Colorado State Historic Fund, the Colorado Historical Society and the American Rock Art Research Association.

Eileen Tannich Gose comes from a long line of strong women. As a result, she realizes that the gains in equality for women today come from the efforts of women in the past. Eileen's research of the topic resulted in the book, Reflecting Freedom: How Fashion Mirrored the Struggle for Women's Rights, exploring women's equality and fashion.
