This program is intended for children ages 5 and up, and all children must be accompanied by a caregiver.Bring binoculars, weather-appropriate outerwear, and good walking shoes. Sunscreen strongly suggested.
Birds, like many animals, communicate to each other in different ways. We'll explore how birds use sound, scent, coloration, action, and touch to "talk" to each other. Be ready to find clues by sight and sound to identify birds living in Shevlin Park!
Damian Fagan is a former National Park Service ranger and field biologist. He has led birding trips for COCC's Continuing Education program and is known to break out in spontaneous owl hooting!
