Know Language - Color Theory: How to Speak the Language of Color at BJCC

Tuesday, September 12, 2023
6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Description
Learn the importance of colors and how to mix them.

This is an in-person program. Registration is required. Materials provided.

What to expect
Learn why knowing colors and how they work together is important. Why Red, Yellow and Blue do not work for mixing colors but Cyan, Magenta and Yellow do! Mixing colors and learning how they work is the basics of this class. We will spend our time mixing colors, making a swatch sheet and a color wheel. You should leave class with a basic understanding of how color works and how to apply your knowledge to just about any art medium.

The class will be taught using watercolors but information for colored pencils and other paints will be provided.
