Join us for a quiet, cozy, hygge afternoon in the library!

This is an in-person program for all La Pine area kids and families, held at La Pine Elementary. Masks are optional at all in-person library events. This is an inter-generational event intended to encourage interaction and bonding between children and their adults.
Attending adults are required to sign in through the BLS Raptor System. Please bring your photo ID.

Grab a family member and join us for a hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) afternoon at the library! Hygge is the Danish practice of coziness and warmth and is perfect for the long, cold February nights. We will have board games, books, coloring, puzzles, hot chocolate, and of course, a cozy atmosphere. This is a multi-generational event so bring your grandparents, your aunt, or your favorite adult to bond and be hygge together.
If your child is an LPE student that wants to attend but needs to ride the bus, please contact the school office at 541-355-8000 to arrange transportation with the La Pine Bus Barn. This must be pre-arranged ahead of time.
