From the bestseller list to the Broadway stage and the big screen, graphic novels have exploded in popularity in recent years. Join librarian Le A Button in a discussion of what graphic novels are and why everyone should be reading them. Le will also be sharing titles that are perfect points of entry for newcomers to the world of graphic novels, as well as some exciting recent releases.

Le A Button is a Collection Development Librarian at Deschutes Public Library. Before coming to DPL, Le held a variety of library positions, most recently at the University of Washington's Tateuchi East Asia Library. When not at work, Le enjoys karaoke, reality television, and anything involving Batman.
