Get playful with laughter and breathing exercises. No experience needed. This is an in-person program. Masks are required at all in-person library events.
If you need a good laugh, then Laughter Yoga is your medicine. Laughter is generated through laughter and breathing exercises. At first, the laughter can seem fake or fabricated, but soon it turns into genuine, heartfelt laughter that comes from deep within oneself. Playfulness is encouraged and fostered through the laughter exercises.
Please wear comfortable clothing. No experiences is necessary. Laughter Yoga is not suitable for people with respiratory problems. First come-first served.
Renee Hamilton has been teaching Laughter Yoga, Yoga and Meditation for 15 years in Central Oregon. She has taught in yoga studios, COCC, The Bend Rock Gym and to her high school students. She was first introduced to Laughter Yoga through the Center for Compassionate Communication and all it took was one class for her to be intrigued by the practice of sustained laughter. Now, she joyfully shares Laughter Yoga whenever she can.
