Learn about local plants' medical properties and ethical harvesting. Clinical Herbalist Holly Hutton shares her in-depth knowledge on plants in our bioregion and their herbal properties, including their ethnobotanical history. Medicinal herbs that grow in and around Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties will be discussed.

Holly Hutton (RH, AHG) is a clinical herbalist, teacher, product manufacturer, and grower of medicinal herbs. She is a faculty member of East West School of Planetary Herbology and Vice President of the American Herbalists Guild. She holds an East West Certified Herbalist certificate from the East West School of Planetary Herbology and mentored with Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa. Holly focuses much of her time exploring her bioregion and working on a book about local herbs and their traditional uses. In addition to working with people, she owns a small herbal products company, Herbal Goddess Medicinals, teaches at Central Oregon Community College and grows and sells medicinal herbs in Bend, Oregon.
