Description
Used pressed plants to make a beautiful bookmark.
We'll look at two different methods: (1) ironing wax paper and (2) no-iron contact paper.
Supplies you'll need for both methods:
*Pressed natural items, such as flowers, leaves or grass. Take the items and put them between the pages of a book, or under a stack of books to flatten them. Let them remain there at least overnight.
For the ironing version:
*Iron (as in for clothing)
*Wax paper in two sheets, a little bigger than the bookmark you'd like to make
*Heavy paper, or a couple of sheets of lightweight paper
*Scissors
For the non-iron version:
*Clear contact paper a little bigger than the bookmark you'd like to make
*Scissors
Optional:
*Hole Punch
*Ribbon or string
