Don't miss these small, winged acrobats!
Every spring and fall, tens of thousands of small birds called Vaux's Swifts fly through Bend. Many of them roost each night at the Bend Boys & Girls Club, across the street from the library.
At this event, we'll first introduce you to these amazing birds and then walk over to the Boys & Girls Club for a chance to see hundreds or even thousands of them spiral like winged cyclones into the old chimney. It's one of Bend's most spectacular nature experiences!
