Paper crafts at DPL
Description
Use stamping, embossing, and other types of pressure to create one of a kind cards.
Join us for a fun session of making handmade greeting cards! Samples will provide ideas for "Happy Birthday," "Thank You," or "Thinking of You" cards. Or, create your own unique greeting message. You'll use handheld paper punches, stamps, stickers, flowers, and other decorations to make beautiful embellishments for your cards. At the end of the workshop, you'll receive two envelopes, so you can mail your cards to family or friends.
Alma has been making handmade cards for over 10 years. She once made the mistake of gifting a bride-to-be a set of five handmade cards as part of a shower gift. The bride-to-be loved them so much, she asked Alma to create over 50 unique handmade cards for the wedding. Now, Alma creates handmade cards for special occasions, tailoring each card to the specific color and style preferences of the sender.
