Yoga Nidra is for anyone with a desire for greater inner peace and connection with one's self. This practice has been used successfully to aid insomnia, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, pain, and many other issues. This simple, meditative practice requires nothing of you but to lie down and listen. It systematically guides you through each layer of your being, called koshas, which include the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers, making this practice inclusive of your whole being. Kathy Durham is a certified Yoga Nidra teacher. She is also a lead instructor for the 105F Hot Yoga Teacher Training and Siddhi School of Yoga. She is a member of the Yoga Alliance, OHYA (Original Hot Yoga Association), leads workshops, practices Reiki, hosts a monthly Women's Circle, and currently serves as the manager and teaches classes at the Bend Hot Yoga Wellness Center. She is available for private or group sessions upon request.
Students should bring a water bottle, yoga mat or blanket, and journal if you wish to take notes.
