A wonderful feature of the new website is Sign-up/My library which allows you to subscribe to the site. Membership to the site lets you personalize your experience and allows you to receive email notifications when new information is added to the site. It also enables you to select the branch of your choice and sends you reminders of upcoming calendar events.
Other features include: daily calendar of events for all five branches; community links; a free online book club, Chapter-A-Day; a "Hot Reads" link to showcase the hottest reads; and monthly features regarding local and national interests.
The new website has many search options that enable you to search the catalog, the Internet, and the library's website. The library's new catalog, iPac, is user-friendly and allows for easier finding of library materials, hold placements, and special account requests. The website and catalog are connected so browsing of the website and the catalog is seamless.
