Deschutes Public Library’s annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest moves online this year—which means you can be more creative than ever! Decorate a pumpkin as one of your favorite book characters and send us a photo. We’ll share the entries with the community for online voting; winners get a fun bag of library swag, and everyone gets a prize. It’s easy and fun for the whole family!
Rules:
- Pumpkins must be inspired by a book or a character from a book
- You can cut or carve your pumpkin, or paint your pumpkin, or glue/paste items on your pumpkin; the only rule is that you use a pumpkin or gourd (either real or fake)
- Entries accepted via email only—do not bring your pumpkin to the library
