As part of a month-long series of
programs in November on family, the Deschutes Public Library is pleased to announce a presentation by local counselor Lynne Herbert, “Adoption and Attachment: Emotionally Preparing to Bring a New Child into Your Life” which will take place on
Tuesday, November 29th at 6:30 pm at the Downtown Bend Public Library. This program is free and open to the public.
Thinking of adoption? Lynne Herbert, LPC, will discuss important issues to consider in order to support you and your new family as you begin your journey together. The focus will be more on the emotions than the logistics of adoption with an emphasis on attachment and creating a loving space for your new child.
