Bargains on Books from the Friends of the Libraries

Stop by your local Friends of the Library bookstore or sale, get a great deal, and help support your local library.


Downtown Bend Public Library
The Friendshop is a unique gift shop located just inside the main doors of the library. Staffed by friendly volunteers, the Friendshop offers a unique shopping experience for library visitors: greeting cards, stationary, bibelots, bookmarks, reading glasses, quick snacks, and the very popular "everlasting book sale". The gently used books include adult and children’s books, videos, cassettes and CDs.

Open Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, depending upon availability of volunteers.


La Pine Public Library
The Friends of the La Pine Library are holding a paperback book sale Sunday, November 6 from 12:00-5:00 PM in the La Pine Library meeting room.


Redmond Public Library
Check out the great bargains on paperback books and gently used bestsellers available in the Friends of the Redmond Library Bookstore.

The bookstore is located in the northwest corner of the Redmond Library, adjacent to the public computers and is open 10-5, Monday through Saturday (when volunteers are available). Proceeds from the sale of donated books and media items support local library programs.


Sisters Public Library
The Friends of the Sisters Library Book Corner, located at the corner of the library by the book drop, is open Tuesdays, 11:00 am to 1:00pm and Sundays 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

The Book Corner offers used fiction and non-fiction books, paperbacks, hardbacks, CDs, DVDs, Children's books and collectibles.


Sunriver Area Public Library
The Friends of the Sunriver Library Sales Shelf offers books and audiovisual materials available for purchase during normal library hours. Prices: hardbacks-$1.00, paperbacks-$.50, and CDs/DVDs - $1.00.

Also available for purchase is a guide for native plants: 'Native Plants of the Lewis and Clark Expedition'. This book contains pictures and planting information for plants that grow naturally in this area. Plants can be seen in the Lewis and Clark garden at the Sunriver Library. The book is $3.00; great for gifts.
