The Friends of the Redmond Library Art Committee is sponsoring a Winter 2011 Art Exhibit, Sat., Nov. 5, through Fri., Dec 30. at the Redmond Public Library.

Central Oregon artists are invited to submit original and ready to hang artwork.

The show will include most media forms: Oil paintings, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, colored pencil drawings and photographs will be considered. No sculpture please. The majority of the art work will be for sale and 20% of all sales will go to the Redmond Friends of the Library who supports the Art Committee and art exhibits at the library.

Art will be reviewed and selected by Art Committee members. The library display area will support up to 50 works. All artists are responsible for dropping off their submissions on Nov. 5 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and picking up their own artwork at the end of the exhibition on Dec. 30 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. No storage is available for artwork.
