Deschutes Public Library and Volunteer Connect are pleased to host Keep It Local – Volunteer Expo at the Redmond Public Library this afternoon (August 30, 2011) from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  If you are looking for a new opportunity to serve your community, you don’t want to miss Keep It Local – Volunteer Expo.

During the Expo, potential volunteers will have the opportunity to visit volunteer programs from 24 agencies ranging from Big Brothers/Big Sisters to Partnership to End Poverty to COCC Volunteer Tutors. Deschutes Public Library hopes interested citizens will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn about volunteer opportunities in Redmond and the invaluable services that organizations provide in our community.

The Expo is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
