Stop by the
Downtown Bend Public Library on Saturday, June 4 at 3:00 pm for an hour of informal music presented by Wandering Winds. The performance is free and open to the public.
Wandering Winds is a quintet ensemble group that is part of the Cascade Winds Symphonic band. During their performance you’ll hear a natural French horn duet with a tuba and discussion led by the musicians about their instruments and the music. The performers will also answer questions from the audience.
The Cascade Winds Symphonic Band is a dynamic ensemble of the region's finest musicians, dedicated to creating an entertaining and enjoyable musical experience for audiences of all ages. This group has been Bend's regional band since 1948, and became affiliated with COCC in 1967. This symphonic band presents three free formal concerts per year under the baton of Dan Judd. The upcoming summer concert will be Sunday, 2 pm, June 5 at the Summit High School auditorium.
