Celebrate Kapitoil at QuiltWorks First Friday Gallery Opening

What happens when local area quilters get inspired by all reading the same book?
Be the first to find out at the First Friday Gallery Exhibit and Reception on April 1 at QuiltWorks (926 NE Greenwood, Bend) from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. There will be a prize drawing at 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.
According to Marilyn Ulrich, owner of QuiltWorks, "The Kapitoil Quilts exhibit that opens this Friday is one of our most exciting quilt exhibits ever!” Nineteen quilters have embraced the premise of A Novel Idea ... Read Together, by making a quilt based on their interpretation of author Teddy Wayne's first novel Kapitiol.
In addition to the First Friday opening of the quilt show, QuiltWorks is opening its doors to book groups discussing Kapitoil during the month of April.
If your group is interested in holding your April discussion surrounded by original works of art inspired by Kapitoil, contact Marilyn at marilyn@quiltworks.com. A second reception is planned for Thursday, April21 at 5:00pm.
