The Deschutes Public Library is pleased to welcome Central Oregon Master Gardener Linda Stephenson for two programs titled “Cold Climate Gardening in Central Oregon” at the La Pine and Downtown Bend Libraries. These events are part of the “Know Dirt” series being offered through the month of March.

Linda Stephenson has owned and operated L & S Gardens in La Pine for 21 years and has taught numerous classes througout Central Oregon for many years on the unique challenges of gardening in our chilly climate. She has written several publications on regional gardening, and has published articles in Better Homes and Gardens and is a contributor for Birds and Blooms Magazine.
