October/November Events Guide Cover Contest Winner

The winner for the October/November cover is Lilianne Scearcy. Her passion for children’s literature resonates on the Events guide cover. Lilianne was “gobsmacked” when she learned her artwork was chosen. “When I started drawing, I didn’t even think I would submit anything for the contest,” says Lilianne. “I went in with the mindset of ‘we’ll see what happens’ as I stared the project.” On par with the whimsical, dream-like cover, her reading style is primarily fantasy with a dash of magic. Thank you to everyone who submitted a design for the October/November cover design contest. Existing submissions will be considered for future Events guide covers, but new artwork is always welcome. Find contest guidelines here as well as templates at all Library locations.

The final upcoming deadline is October 20, 2022.
