Events Guide Cover Winner Is Announced

Deschutes Public Library’s first-ever customer-submitted artwork is selected for the June/July Events guide. We received 40 entries from across all six Library branches featuring photography, digital illustration, markers, colored pencil, and more. It has provided a wonderful opportunity for Deschutes County residents to showcase their creative talents.

Congratulations to Claire Nadine Osborn (third grade) for her original watercolor drawing inspired by reading graphic novels. Claire credits her brother's suggestion to focus on outer space, which brought her design to life.

Thank you to everyone who entered his or her design for the June/July cover design contest. Existing submissions will be considered for future Events guide covers, but new artwork is welcome too. The next upcoming deadline in June 20, 2022.

All submissions received by April 20 are viewable below and listed in the order in which they were received.
