The Deschutes Public Library wraps up the "Seismic Sixties: Aftershock" series of programs at the end of the month with two Tie-Dye workshops. The first will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 2:00 pm at the Sunriver Public Library and the second will be held on Sunday, March 30th at 2:00 pm at the Bend Public Library in the Brooks Room.

Joan Smith-Anable, local artist and famed tie-dye creator, will teach particpants how to make the brightest, most psychedelic clothing possible. Each participant is asked to bring a white, pre-washed, 100% cotton t-shirt that will be used to create their wearable work of art.

Both workshops are free, but are limited to 12 participants. Please register online at www.dpls.lib.or.us./calendar or by calling Lisa at 312-1034.
