Celebrate the arrival of St. Patrick's Day at the Sisters Public Library on March 15th, 6:00 p.m. when local trio "A Scottish Heart" takes the Cafe Libri stage.

Since 1994, Irene Goodnight, Becky Duncan, and Steve Allely have been playing, arranging, and performing traditional Scottish and Irish music together as "A Scottish Heart". Goodnight, who plays fiddle in the group, is joined by Duncan on piano, and Allely on Bodhran, Tin Whistles, and Uillean pipes. Goodnight credits the group's strong knowledge of traditional music to ongoing education and a deep love of the genre. Weekly practices keep the band performance-ready, while trips to Scotland and sitting in on Irish sessions in New York have proven their abilities. They have earned a following of true fans throughout Central Oregon thanks to their showmanship and musical talent.

This program is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. For more information please call 312-1034.
