Got a hankering for a Jim Croce style singer/songwriter? Don’t miss November’s Café Libri at the Sunriver Area Public Library on November 16, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. During this time, regular library services are available. This program is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Café Libri is the result of the library district responding to public suggestions. Created to provide a place to meet and mingle and enjoy food and friends in a casual environment, Café Libri events are hosted once a month throughout the library district. Refreshments will be served and entertainment provided. Visitors to Café Libri are encouraged to enjoy the music, browse the stacks and get acquainted with their library in a whole new way.

Taking the stage at the November event is singer/songwriter Tony Graham. Raised in the Willamette Valley, Graham began his early career as a front man for three rock bands. He also landed many lead roles in local theatres. 26 years ago, Graham decided to put away the spandex, tuck his hair up under his hat, purchase a Washburn and start writing the type of music that he enjoyed singing and performing. He hasn't looked back since. In 2003 he recorded his firs CD, Kick The Can, with producer Bobby Hamilton. To date, it has sold 3,000 copies, mostly at Graham’s many live shows. This spring he will begin recording his second CD. Graham now resides in Central Oregon with his girlfriend Heidi and their two daughters, Amanda, 11, and their new baby girl Rozlynn, 6 months.
