Bike Everywhere: Using Your Bicycle Instead of Your Car

The Deschutes Public Library is pleased to welcome Jeff Monson of Commute Options for Central Oregon for a presentation titled "Bike Everywhere: Using Your Bicycle Instead of Your Car." Monson will be at the Brooks Room of the Bend Public Library on Thursday, June 14th 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
This program is free and open to the public and is the first in a series of events for the 17th Annual Commute Options Week. Monson Will discuss how to make transportation choices that will create both a livable community and encourage better health, a clean environment, and a strong economy. Come learn how to reduce vehicle miles and make the choice to ride your bike to work, to school, or just around town.
