Snowshoeing for Boomers

Deschutes Public Library is pleased to welcome Pam Kirk, owner of Silver Striders Guide Service, for a presentation titled “Snowshoeing for Boomers”. She will be at the Bend Public Library in the Brooks Room on Thursday, January 4th at 5:00 p.m.
Pam Kirk will discuss the proper equipment needed, nearby trails, and tips and techniques for creating a successful snowshoeing experience. Her presentation is geared towards those 50 years and older and is also for people who may be new to the area and would like to meet others with similar interests and get some great advice on snow parks and trail systems in Central Oregon.
