Legends of Scotland Come Alive

Local Scotsman, Hamish MacLean presents “Legends of Old Scotland,” in the Brooks Room of the Bend Public Library on Saturday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. This program is free and open to the public.
MacLean, who is of the clan MacLean of the Island of Duart and the knights of old Aethelstan, served as member of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guard. During his time in the armed forces he traveled to posts around the world. MacLean believes in learning from the deeds of his ancestors. The courage and the proud independence of his Scottish roots inspire MacLean to share the stories and tales of his homeland. During his program, MacLean tells historical stories of Scotland, highlighting the clothing and weaponry of the old Highland warriors.
