The Redmond Library is booming!

In just three years, the library has doubled the number of items checked-out and has experienced 50,000 more visitors than in 1999.
In order to serve the growing community better, the library will undergo a remodel that will add five more public Internet computer stations, create a Young Adult area, redesign the Children's area, and add shelving throughout the library. Another wonderful addition to the library will be the Bill and Melinda Gates 11-station Computer Training Lab. The lab will be available for community organizations and neighboring libraries to use. The library will be closed from Monday, September 9 through Sunday, September 15.

The remodel project is being made possible by generous
contributions from:

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

The Deschutes Public Library Foundation, Inc.

The Friends of the Redmond Public Library

The Mary S. Hicks Estate
