National Hispanic Heritage Month is a national recognition of the culture, contributions, and heritage of Hispanic Americans. The annual observance is a 31-day period beginning on September 15th and ending on November 15th. The September-October period covers a wide range of Independence Days for many Latin American coutries including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatamala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Mexico.
This program was made possible by a Library Services and Technology (LSTA) Grant, and is supported in whole or part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
