Do something dangerous this Saturday! Attend one of two performances of Danger: Books! by the Book-It All Over theater group. During the performance will be offering dramatic readings from three banned or challenged books. Following the readings, the actors will facilitate a discussion about our first amendment rights and civil liberties.

Book-It All Over is the educational wing of Book-It Repertory Theatre located in Seattle, Washington. Now entering its 11th year, Book-It All Over is dedicated to inspiring people of all ages to read. The programs are specifically designed to offer youth a positive and active experience with literature. In essence, we bring books to life on stage. Last year, Book-It All Over sparked the imaginations of 50,000 children, teens and adults. This is their first visit to Central Oregon.

The performances are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Sunriver Area Public Library and at 7:00 p.m. at COCC’s Hitchcock Auditorium. Both are free and open to the public, so bring a friend (or two!).
