To start your fun just visit any of the Deschutes
Public Libraries and pick up your library
passport book of coupons, containing:

* A BLUE elephant Reading Coupon

* PINK elephant Reading Coupons

Children from birth through age eleven are
invited to join.

READ!

When you have finished three hours of reading or
listening to books, turn in the BLUE elephant
reading coupon at your library and receive a
free book and a chance at the weekly prize
drawing for puppets & books! Each additional
PINK elephant reading coupon that you turn in
gives you another chance at the weekly drawing.

WEEKLY WANDERS!

You don’t have to wait until Fall for action and
fun. Music, storytelling, crafts, and puppets will
fill the summer with imagination, creativity, and
laughter at your library. Find out all about the
Weekly Wanders: programs for ages 6-10, and
Story Times for the youngsters.

NEW TRAILS!

At your library you can take your own long trip
without ever packing a trunk. The library is
bringing in three amazing performers who will take
you around the world and back. Humorous
storytelling and sing-alongs by Anne-Louise
Sterry, juggling by Rhys Thomas, and world music
by Todd Green are their special talents; all you
have to do is be there!
