Join financial experts Tom Schnell, CFM and Reece Shepard, CFP, ChF, on April 25th at 12:00 in the Brooks Room at the Bend Public Library for Financial Friday. Schnell and Shepard will discuss effect 401k rollowvers. Participants may bring a lunch.
“With all the changes in the job market and uncertainties in the market, 401k rollovers and planning for retirement are big concerns right now,” says Schnell. “There is a lot of financial uncertainty out there right now,” states Schnell, who holds a finance degree from Oregon State University and an international business degree from Aarhus in Denmark. Currently working for Merrill Lynch, Schnell has been in the finance industry since 1990.
Reece Shepard, who first began working on Wall Street in 1966, holds an economics degree from Harvard and a MBA from Stanford. He moved to Bend in 1984 to start COCC’s Business Development Center and now works at Merrill Lynch. “I really enjoy helping people reduce their investment risk and increase their returns,” says Shepard.
