Local exercise physiologist and alpine guide, Hilloah Rohr, shares her adventures in the French Alps on Sunday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the Redmond Public Library.

Growing up skiing and hiking the mountains around Seattle, Rohr was on skis from the time she could walk and making technical climbs in her early teens. Currently living in Bend, she continues to enjoy Nordic skiing, hiking and cycling. She owns Rohr Fitness & Safety, Inc. providing health, fitness and injury prevention seminars and consultation to large businesses and government agencies. Hilloah is also an Onsen Therapist based in Bend.

Come experience the stunning contrasting glaciated peaks and valleys of the Grand Casse and Grand Motte, the regal bouquetin, the deep blue of gentian flowers decorating winding paths. Rohr delights in sharing slides and experiences of the famous Savoie region, known for its cheeses, wines, and gentian aperitifs, endless mountains and valleys, prolific wildlife, colorful mountain villages and of course the ever fun-loving French people of the Savoie.

This program is free and open to the public. For more information, please visit Deschutes Public Library at www.dpls.us or call 617-7072.
