A New Events Guide Cover is Awarded
Date Posted: 6/29/2022
Another round of original artwork has been reviewed for the Library’s Events Guide Cover Design Contest. There were 60 entries from across all six Library branches and our youngest artist is just four years old.
The winner for the August/September cover is Shannon Hodgson. Her “doodle” artwork features some iconic Oregon images. The cover is black and white now, but it’s ready for you to color it in—stay tuned for the printed edition! The doodles have significance to the artist’s life: a lighthouse, a book, a campfire. Can you spot the “S”? A nod to the featured artist. You can read more in the upcoming Events guide launching in early August.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a design for the August/September cover design contest. Existing submissions will be considered for future Events guide covers, but new artwork is always welcome. Find contest guidelines here as well as templates at all Library locations.
The next upcoming deadline is October 20, 2022.
All submissions received by June 22 are below and listed in the order in which they were received.
