Salmon Sculpture

A bronze salmon sculpture has greeted visitors on the civic square outside the Downtown Bend Library since the building opened. Photographs and additional information will be added here.

New commissions in selection. Additional work for the renovated Downtown Bend Library will be announced as the project progresses.

The library’s art commissions are funded through a one-percent set-aside on bricks-and-mortar construction costs—a policy that follows the State of Oregon’s 1% for Art statute. Read about the program and how artists apply →
