Designed as a popular reading library, the Sunriver Library opened in the Sunriver
community in April 1998.
The landscaped grounds and adjacent pine trees set a comfortable tone at the branch’s
location in the Sunriver Business Park. This feeling of welcome is reinforced with
a gas fireplace and comfortable chairs in the main reading area. The collections
room features wood-beamed ceilings, eighteen feet high, and ample clerestory windows.
Please visit the library often and enjoy our adult and children's programs and art

A Novel Idea: The Night Sky
Friday, April 25, 2014
During his lonely nights, Hig spends time gazing at the stars and giving new names to constellations for which he has forgotten the original name. Join us at the Sunriver Observatory (57245 River Road, Sunriver) for a guide through the constellations and some of the mythology behind them. This is a two-hour program, starting inside the observatory. Well head outside in the second part of the program to look deep into the cosmos with our naked eyes and with telescopes. April nights can be very cold in Sunriver; please remember to bring warm clothes for outdoor viewing. Free.
