The Bookmobile

The Deschutes Public Library’s bookmobile has been traveling throughout Deschutes County providing library materials and programs to children, teens, parents, and child care providers who are unable to visit a Deschutes Public Library branch.

Unfortunately, due to budget cuts and staff limitations, the bookmobile will no longer be traveling beginning June 1, 2011.

This was not an easy decision, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully, bookmobile service will return when the economy improves.
