Royal Tea Party

CrownChildren age 2-11 are invited to clothe themselves in crowns, wings, velvet and lace, to attend the Royal Tea Party at two of the Deschutes Public Libraries. Boys and girls will have a chance to present themselves with a bow or curtsy to the Queen of Library Land, after which they will be seated at linen draped tables. There will be brief entertainment, including a reader’s theatre production of “The King’s Breakfast,” by A. A. Milne, and a chance for everyone to join in on the song, “All the Best People.” Light refreshments will be served from silver platters. Seating will be limited so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

Dates are locations are:

Downtown Bend Library, March 14 at 1:30 p.m.

Redmond Library, March 18 at 6:45 p.m.
