Mock Caldecott Winner Chosen

This Is Not My Hat Deschutes Public Library is proud to announce the results of their first public Mock Caldecott Medal election.

The recipient of the 2013 Deschutes Mock Caldecott is This Is Not My Hat, written and illustrated by Jon Klassen.

The Mock Caldecott Honors (runners-up) go to Z Is for Moose, written by Kelly Bingham and illustrated by Paul O. Zelinsky, and And Then It’s Spring, written by Julie Fogliano and illustrated by Erin E. Stead.
