In June, the Art Envy series will look at landscape art, and study the works of American artists Grant Wood, who painted “American Gothic” and David Hockney, who is famous for his sun-drenched paintings of California. Participants in this monthly workshop will enjoy a 20-minute presentation on the life and work of Wood and Hockney, and then get creative in a 45-minute drawing workshop taught by local artist Paula Bullwinkel. This discussion will take place at the La Pine public library on Thursday, June 9th at 1:00 p.m. No pre-registration is necessary for this workshop. Supplies are provided and this program is free and open to the public.
