Second Sunday Poetry Reading

Deschutes Public Library pleased to host the monthly Second Sunday Readings on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. This months reading will be in the Library Admin Conference Room at 507 NW Wall in Bend. This event is free and open to the public.

Proving that poetry is alive and well in Central Oregon a group of local poets and lovers of poetry have organized monthly readings. Each month has a focus and a featured reader. January’s reading is titled “Four Writers: One Community.” The featured readers will be mixing poetry and prose that highlight the unique differences that members of the same community can embody. An open mic follows the readings.
