ALA - Great Elementary Reads
The ALSC 2011-2012 School-Age Programs and Services Committee recommends these titles for children who are just learning to read and beginning to read on their own. The books included were published between 2009 and 2011. However, many are part of a larger series that young readers also will enjoy.

Allen County Public Library Booklists
Includes a number of unique lists as well as the usual genres, some annotated.

Book Adventure

Highland Park Public Library Book Suggestions

Mid-Continent Public Library Juvenile Series & Sequels
The 'Juvenile Series and Sequels' database currently contains over 20,000 books in series titles that are classified into three audiences, juvenile easy, juvenile & young adult.

Morton Grove Public Library
Annotated lists, including standard & unique genres such as books about talking animals, young inventors, ghost stories, & horse stories.

Multnomah County Library Recommended Booklists
Lots of lists of recommended book titles, arranged by grade level and subject, to give you good reading ideas.

New York Public Library Recommended Reading
