North American Industry Classification System

Access to a common code for business establishments in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  These 6-digit codes are used to identify the activity of businesses and industries.  Use these codes in a variety of resources to identify statistical data or locating businesses within a region.

Economic Census
The Economic Census profiles American business every 5 years, from the national to the local level.  The main reports fall into three categories - industries, geographic areas and subjects.  Note that the current available reports from 2002 being published from 2004 through 2006.
