Support the Library
The library encourages and accepts donations for our Friends of the Library Groups' book sales. The proceeds of these events help purchase additional popular materials and support library activities like early literacy programs and projects.
The Friends of the Library groups organize regular book sales, art shows, and cultural programs in your local area. Join today and make a difference in your community.
Founded in 1993, the Deschutes Public Library Foundation raises and manages funds to ensure a world-class public library program that reaches and serves all people in Deschutes County.
Volunteers enrich our library in many ways. They bring enthusiasm, added talent, and fresh perspective to the library. Volunteers contribute to sound working relationships with recognized agencies as well as with community groups and organizations. The countless hours of volunteer service represent not only a tremendous monetary value to our libraries, but an immeasurable value in service to our local and global communities.
